Zoom (with smooth change of magnification) optical sight 1,2-4,8х25 with glass reticle is intended for observation and aiming focusing during shooting and mounted on any hunting rifled gun with cartridges of various calibre if hunter has the necessary bracket.

On the gun the sight is mounted by means of special brackets, which can be bought in hunting shops.

The optical sight allows to carry out more accuracy aiming, as it magnifies image of target, and there is no parallax usual for mechanical sights during focusing on target. So target and aiming reticle are visible equally sharply.

Variable magnification makes it possible to carry out aiming both on close and considerably removed targets.

Due to rubber packing seals the device has increased moisture resistance.

Interval of working temperature of the sight is from -45 up to 40° С.

Sight 1,2-4,8х25 is a complex optomechanical system with smooth change of magnification from 1,2 х up to 4,8 х with mechanism of aiming angles and lateral correction angles input.

Optical train of the sight consists of two -component telephoto lens, glass reticle, lens turn-over system and eyepiece.

Lens forms an inverted image of removed target in the plane of the reticle. The lens zoom turn-over system transfers image of target and reticle in focal plane of the eyepiece, simultaneously turning over image. Shooter sees in the eyepiece the straight magnified image of the target and the reticle, which are not, displaced relatively each other at eye moving, and they are observed equally sharply.

For improvement of image sharpness by the features of hunter’s eye the sight has adjustment of the eyepiece in limits of +/-3 diopters. Moving internal cell of the eyepiece makes adjustment. (In average position the eyepiece is set on 0 diopters).

Change of magnification is achieved by moving lenses of turn-over system along the axis under the special law. On a rotary ring there is engraving with meaning of magnification, which has the sight in the given position.

There is an aiming reticle in the focal plane of lens which is a cross-hairs with marks every 4 thousandth of distance (t.d.). The thickness of lines is equivalent to 0,1 (t.d.). In the center of the cross-hairs there are two concentric circles with diameters of 4 (t.d.) and 8 (t.d.).

The reticle is fixed in the cell that can be moved in vertical and horizontal directions for installation of aiming and lateral correction angles. The design of fastening the reticle provides reliable job of the sight with powerful cartridge.

Two handles located from above and on the right if to look on the side of the eyepiece make the moving of the reticle. The range of rotation of drums makes 66,5 (t.d.), (at a distance of 100 м, the point of aiming can be moved to 6,65 м on vertical and horizontal).

There are uniform divisions on scales of aiming and lateral correction angles. The value of a division of the scale is equal to 0,25 thousandth of distance, the value of numerical division is 1 (t.d.). That is, at shooting on a target located at a distance of 100 м, one click of the drum displaces the point of aiming to 25 mm.

Hunting zoom sight is a complex optic mechanical system with smooth change of magnification, with mechanisms of input of the vertical and lateral amendments angles, and also the unit of supply of the aim grid illumination and with focusing on a distance of shooting.

The sight has a glass grid which is in the focal plane of the lens. The grid contains circles located vertically and horizontally. The diameter of each circle is equal to 1/3 thousand distances (t.d.) and the distance between them is 1 t.d. Each raw of circles is located between two lines (thickness 1/3 t.d. and length 20 t.d.) the distance between which is equal to10 t.d. There is a square in the center of the grid width of which is 1/3 t.d. with a line in the middle (height of the line is 1/6 t.d.).

Equal divisions are put on the scales of the vertical and lateral amendments angles. The value of division of the scale is equal 1/3 t.d., the value of figured one is equal 1 t.d. That is at shooting on a target located at distance of 100 м, one click of the drum displaces a point of aiming on 33 mm.

ZOOM OPTICAL SIGHT PPО 5-15х50 is a complex optic mechanical system with smooth change of magnification, with mechanisms of input of the vertical and lateral amendments angles, and also the unit of supply of the aim grid illumination and with focusing on a distance of shooting.

For increasing accuracy of shooting in twilight time the sight is supplied with a unit of illumination of the grid, when the opaque lines become red. The grid contains circles located vertically and horizontally. The diameter of each circle is equal to 1/3 thousand distances (t.d.) and the distance between them is 1 t.d. Each raw of circles is located between two lines (thickness 1/3 t.d. and length 20 t.d.) the distance between which is equal to10 t.d. The sight is intended for aiming and shooting in day time and twilight time from hunting plain-barrel and rifle guns of various modifications: "ТОZ", "Bars", "MTZ", "Saiga", "Los", "Vepr", "Medved", "Tigr" and etc.

The sight is mounted on the weapon with help of special supports, which can be got in the hunting shops. For improvement of sharpness of image by features of the eye of hunter, the sight has a focus of an eyepiece in limits ± 3 diopters. Focusing is made by moving of the eyepiece from zero division, and the adjusting ring fixes the necessary position.

Two оxide-silver cells with voltage 1,55 each (types of cells: 303,357, S76Е, SR44, SR44W etc.) can be used in the sight as the power supply.

The zoom optical sight (sharp-shooting) is a complex optomechanical system with smooth magnification variation, mechanisms of aiming and lateral correction angles input and lens focusing on a distance of shooting for ensuring aiming shooting from powerful rifled guns of various modifications.

The large diameter of the lens allows to conduct shooting also in twilight time. The extraordinary high resolution and large value of magnification (up to 24 times) is shown especially effectively at shooting on small and little contrast targets.

Change of the sight magnification does not break ranging fire of the sight on the gun.

On the weapon the sight is mounted with help of the special brackets intended for a specific type of gun. For convenience of installation the sight has three landing sections for the bracket of 30 mm in the diameter.

For improvement of image sharpness by the features of a hunter’s eye, the sight has eyepiece focusing in limits of ± 3 diopters. Moving of the eyepiece from zero division makes focus, and the locating ring fixes the necessary position.

The mechanisms of aiming angles and lateral correction angles input allow to set corrections to an approximation of 0,06 thousandth of the distance (i.e. 1 thousandth has 16 drum clicks, and 1 click at a distance of 100 meters displaces the aiming mark to 6 mm), and the aiming mark is always in the center of the field of sight.

For increasing focusing accuracy the sight is supplied with the device of internal lens focusing at a distance of shooting (from 50 up to 2000 м). For parallax elimination the lens must be adjusted at a required distance, having turned the focusing ring. The internal lens focusing provides increased air-tightness of the sight at its operation. There is an aiming reticle in the focal plane of the lens that is a cross-hairs of horizontal and vertical lines. The thickness of the lines is equivalent to 0,1 thousandth of the distance (t.d.). Under change of magnification the reticle of the sight does not change its angular sizes.
