The slit lamp is designed for biomicroscopy of the anterior and posterior chambers of the eye. The instrument has a binocular stereomicroscope. The barrel-type (Galilean) system provides multiple steps of magnification. The slit lamp features high reliability, excellent quality of the optical system, exceptionally bright slit image, simplicity in handling of conveniently positioned controls of the slit, height and rotation. Simple and perfectly-designed horizontal displacement gear allows smooth and high-precision adjustment. The observer can wear glasses while using the instrument. With this lamp, investigations into the anterior and posterior chambers of the eye can be carried out by any method known in ophthalmological practice. Slit lamps can be supplied: - with an applanation tonometer – Option SL-P-01; - with an adapter (to output image to the computer or television receiver) – Option SL-P-02; - with an applanation tonometer and adapter – Option SL-P-03. |
